Our mission is to help ensure the economic well-being of our community by promoting cultural activities, business development, and tourism.
As a Chamber member you will receive the following benefits:
- Internet Exposure: Our website includes
Warroad Chamber businesses, organizations, and community information
links to other town and state business, tourism and information
resources. The site also includes a directory of all Chamber
members, a direct link to their websites, and an expanded tourist
business description (All for free with your paid membership!).
Discounted site advertising rates are also available to members.
- Participation in Chamber Bucks Program: Our chamber bucks program is designed to encourage shopping and doing business with Chamber members. All Chamber member businesses can accept chamber bucks.
- Referral Service: Our office receives a number
of telephone calls, email inquiries, and in-person visits requesting
information on our community and businesses. We will continue
to provide this referral service to all Chamber member businesses.
Member businesses and organizations can display brochures at
the Chamber office for visitors who stop in to gather information
about the Warroad area.
- Chamber Sponsored Workshops/Seminars: Periodically,
the Warroad Area Chamber of Commerce conducts seminars on topics
of interest to our business community.
- New Resident Packets: New Warroad residents
receive welcome bags filled with promotional items from area
businesses. Only Chamber member businesses are included in this
advertising opportunity.
- Networking Opportunities: We welcome full participation in any of our committees: planning committees, First Dollar Ambassadors, and various task force committees. Meetings are open to all members. This is a great way for our business community to work together for our mutual benefit. We find that the more active members are the more satisfied they are with their membership.
